Plinius - Exciting New Products From NZ's Best.

The Plinius company was started in August 1980 and have produced a large number of extremely good products over the last 25 years. These products have been sold both in New Zealand and overseas and one legendary product is the SA250, a product launched in 1992 and considerably improved over its life. The bad news is that this is no longer available, however the good news is that this has been replaced by a product that is even better - the SA Reference.

SA Reference Power Amplifier

The SA Reference retains the ability to operate under Class A and has better performance over the SA250 in every area. The greatest improvement however has been made in high frequency performance.

CD-101 CD Player

The CD-101 CD player has been recently launched by Plinius and certainly looks different to all of the others. The CD-101 has "the roundy front" which has been designed to match the range of Integrated, Pre and Power Amplifiers. It sounds great, is extremely robust and as for the remote, well words fail me.

M8 Preamplifier

The M8 Preamplifier has the same styling as the CD-101 CD player, has 5 input sources and a processor loop which allows full integration with a home theatre system. The M8 is certainly a quality product that integrates well with other Plinius components.
