The Clark Synthesis Aquasonic (AQ339) is an economical moving-coil design underwater speaker. Possible uses for the Aquasonic include providing underwater sound for flotation tanks, watsu massage, and other activities requiring moderate levels of bass rich underwater sound in pools or tanks less than 20 feet long. The Aquasonic is rated at 135 watts continuous @ 4 ohms, and has an attached 100' 2-conductor cable. We recommend using the Aquasonic with the A-120 PA amplifier only, as amplifier is well matched as regards power rating (120 watts @ 4 ohms), transformer isolation, grounding power cord (connects to GFCI only), and required UL Labs safety label. The data below was provided by the manufacturer, however since unit has not been submitted to an accredited underwater measurement facility such as NUWC for testing, standardized underwater data including TVR, SPL, TCR, and tabular data reports are not available at this time.
